Zimbabwean police have arrested two journalists in connection with a midweek news report that the President, Robert Mugabe,’ was in a ‘fresh health scare.’
Editor of the privately-owned News Day newspaper and his senior reporter who wrote the story were picked up by police on Friday.
The story published on Wednesday alleged that President Mugabe sneaked out of the country in a bad shape.

The presidential spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday that the president is out of the country.
The two journalists are expected to appear before a court of law this Saturday.
