Bekearedebo Augusta Warrens and Sani Yargaya Aminu have officially resumed duty as Permanent Secretaries in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
Warrens was deployed to the Political and Economic Affairs Office (PEAO) while Aminu assumed office at the Special Services Office (SSO).
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Head of Information and Public Relations in the OSGF, Chris Ugwuegbulam.
According to the statement, separate handover ceremonies were held for the new permanent secretaries at the OSGF headquarters.

Speaking during the ceremonies on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Permanent Secretary, General Services Office, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, urged the new appointees to maintain cordial working relationships with members of the management team and other critical stakeholders.
Kana stressed that teamwork and collaboration remain essential to achieving the statutory responsibilities of their offices.
Speaking after assuming office, Warrens pledged to work closely with staff of the Political and Economic Affairs Office in monitoring, analysing and coordinating government policies on political and economic matters.
She also appreciated the Director overseeing the office, Abia Efiok, for his role before her appointment.

Warrens promised to discharge her responsibilities with “diligence, professionalism, and commitment to national development.”
On his part, Aminu assured staff of his commitment to serve with integrity, diligence and loyalty in the discharge of his duties at the Special Services Office.
He called for maximum cooperation from workers in the area of formulating, coordinating and implementing government security policies.
Aminu also pledged to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Meanwhile, the outgoing Permanent Secretary of the Special Services Office, Mohammed Sanusi Danjuma, alongside Efiok, appreciated the management and staff for their support during their period in office.

They also appealed to workers to extend similar cooperation to the newly appointed permanent secretaries.
