Members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities at the University of Lagos on Wednesday staged a protest calling for the removal of the Chairman of the institution’s Governing Council, Wale Babalakin.
The sudden protest is a unanimous decision by the lecturers, who want Professor Babalakin removed.

It will be recalled that the university was supposed to hold its convocation this week, but the ceremony was suspended by the Governing Council over allegation that it was not approved.
