About twenty thousand members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party,in Kano state have defected to the All Progressives Congress.
The defectors were mainly from Bichi local government area of the state.

In his message to the new APC members, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje expressed delight at the development.
He says the APC will be stronger as the 2019 elections get closer.
