Image result for Students appeal to governor Okorocha not to scrap free educationStudents of Imo state origin have appealed to the State Government not to scrap the free education policy introduced by Governor Rochas Okorocha in 2012.

Their appeal came during the registration exercise of Students of Imo origin in preparation for free education in the state.

The Students who were reacting to speculations that the State Government is gearing towards abolishing the free education policy, noted that doing so will encourage school dropout rate in the state.

Secretary to the Imo State Government George Eche used the opportunity to explain further why Government embarked on the registration exercise.
