President Muhammadu Buhari has directed that all uniforms of military and paramilitary agencies in Nigeria will be manufactured in the country from 2021 .
The president disclosed this in Kaduna on Friday. He also performed the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a textile and garmenting factory for the manufacture of military uniforms.
The President who was represented by the minister for Interior, Rauf Aregbeshola said the factory is a product of bilateral ties between Nigeria and Turkey.

Turkish textile and garmenting giants are to immediately invest over Seven billion naira in the project which is projected to produce at least one hundred million sets of uniforms yearly.
The move, according to the authorities, will also lead to creation of over one thousand direct jobs and a lot of indirect jobs.
