Entertainment entrepreneur, Moses Babatope, has announced the launch of his new production company, Nile Media Entertainment Group, just months after leaving FilmHouse Group.
Practitioners say this is a boost to the sector which is seen as one of the largest employers of Labour.
Babatope’s new venture will focus on film production services, distribution and cinema services through 5 entities, Nile Entertainment, Nile Cinemas, Nile Motion Pictures, Nile Studio Lab and Nile Foundation.

With over 20 years of experience, Babatope has produced and executive produced more than 40 Nollywood titles.
He previously secured deals with Disney, Netflix, Prime Video, and Warner Brothers while he was Managing Director of FilmOne.
