A lawmaker in the Lagos state House of Assembly, Bisi Yusuf presented the state ministry of health with more than a million bottles of deworming tablets for the benefit of children in the state.
He noted that the gesture was borne out of his commitment to complementing the efforts of the state government in the area of health.
Receiving the drugs on behalf of the ministry, the state commissioner for health, Jide Idris noted that the lawmaker’s gesture has given their performance in the sector a boost in the area of healthcare delivery for children.
