IGP Holds Emergency Meeting With Paramilitary Agencies

The Inspector General of police has held an emergency security meeting with heads of paramilitary agencies.

The meeting had in attendance, personnel of the DSS, FRSC, NSCDC, Customs, NIS and NCS

Security Personnel will be given body cameras which will be worn on the days of the protest.

This is what IGP says is to ensure accountability on the part of the security agencies.

protesters are advised to be peaceful in their demonstrations, to ensure protection from the police.

The rights of Nigerians can not be undermined but the country can not afford a repeat of the EndSARs protest.
