As part of efforts aimed at promoting good ethical conducts and professionalism, the institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria at its 17th conferment of fellowship status ceremony awarded deserving members with the highest status which is the fellowship awards of the institute.
The event took place at the ICAN centre Amuwo Odofin Lagos.
The recipients of the award are professional accountants who have been in practice for a minimum of five years or members who have not in practice but have become chartered for a minimum of ten years.
President of the institute, Razak Jaiyeola charged members on the need to maintain standards, integrity and diligence in all business dealings.
For recipients, this is a call to service, the need to improve service delivery at both public and private institutions where they find themselves will remain their ultimate goal.
Other speakers urged members to participate in the institutes mandatory continuing professional education to help develop capacity and contribution to nation building.
