At a visit to the INEC office in Eleme local government area of Rivers state show less number of those waiting to be registered.

One of the registrants revealed off camera that many were compelled to leave the centre after waiting endlessly with no word from the INEC officials.

Some of those who had intended to register expressed their frustration.

For these residents of Eleme council, they want INEC to do the needful now so as to avoid the usual last minute rush when elections are near.

At the commencement of the on going exercise, the Rivers state INEC commissioner

Aniedi Ikoiwak had promised that all eligible voters would be registered.

As the exercise continues,INEC must do all within its powers to ensure that no Nigerian of voting age is disenfranchised during the 2019 general elections.
