The President, Bishop Conference of Nigeria, Augustine Akubueze, has advised Nigerians to uphold justice and peace in order to build a sustainable society.
He made this known during the 2nd Plenary of Catholic Bishops in Nigeria, held in Abeokuta.
He noted that the country is presently facing insecurity and many other challenges that require urgent attention of the leaders but the citizens must
also work towards peace building.
The Chairperson of the Planning Committee of the conference, Yemisi Eromosele, highlighted challenges facing Nigeria and urged the
leaders to work on how to make life much easier for the citizens.
