Her body departed the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital mortuary on Tuesday, September 23, with interment scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, at Ugaga Ohuhu Owo in Oju Local Government Area of Benue State.
The remains of the interior designer arrived at her hometown at about 12:am.

The suspect, identified as Lintex, a native of Otukpo in Benue State, allegedly gained entry into Deborah’s residence late Wednesday night after deceiving estate security by posing as a dispatch rider.
According to activist Meddy Olotu, when security raised doubts about his identity, the suspect scaled the fence to gain access to the compound. He reportedly attempted to cause an explosion by cutting the cooking gas pipe outside the house, but when that failed, he broke into Deborah’s apartment.
