TVC News has received multiple awards for its outstanding contributions to society.
The station was honoured with the Public Enlightenment on Contemporary Issues Award and the Exemplary Business Award by the Rotaractors in the Eighties Association during their 2023 annual Global reunion in Ibadan.
At the heart of the recognition were two of TVC News’ flagship programs. “Journalist Hangout” clinched the Exemplary Business Award, while “Community Forum” secured the Outstanding Services: Public Enlightenment on Contemporary Issues Award.
Community Forum was particularly commended for its impactful episodes, that featured a young lady hawking to support her mother and that which focused on individuals living with disabilities.
