Suspected bandits release 30 persons in exchange for detainees in Katsina

Thirty kidnap victims have been freed in Katsina state following a swap deal between suspected bandits and the state government.
They were brought to the government house by one of the bandits, who disclosed they were held at Damsadau forest in Zamfara state.

They were received by Governor Aminu Masari and he pledged to persuade the bandits to release more victims.

He said they will be taken to hospital for medical check-up before they are reunited with their families.
