Supreme Court affirms 12-year jail term for Taraba ex-gov, Nyame

Image result for Supreme Court reduces ex-gov Jolly Nyame's sentenceThe Supreme court has affirmed the judgment of the Court of Appeal which reduced the jail term of former Taraba governor, Jolly Nyame, from 14 years to 12 years.

The Apex court also removed the N495 million imposed by the court.




The court of appeal in abuja had earlier ordered the former Taraba state governor to pay the fine for alleged misappropriation of funds while he was governor of taraba state from 1999 to 2007.
