Vice President Kashim Shettima on Friday arrived at Ramat Square in Maiduguri, Borno State, to join Muslim faithful in observing Eid al-Fitr prayers, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Shettima was accompanied by Governor Babagana Zulum, Deputy Governor Umar Usman Kadafur, and the Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-Amin.

The delegation also included federal and state lawmakers such as Senators Kaka Shehu Lawan and Ali Ndume, as well as Representatives members, Usman Zannah, Abdulkadir Rahis, Bukar Talba, and Uba Ahmadu Maigari, the Minister of State for Regional Development.
Members of the Borno State Executive Council and prominent party leaders were also present, joining the Vice President in the large congregation at the square.
