The Senate has issued a two-week ultimatum to ministers, to forward the 2017 budget proposals of thirty eight statutory corporations whose annual budgets run into trillions of naira to the National Assembly.
The Senate leadership took the decision at Wednesday’s plenary, following the refusal of agencies such as the Nigerian National Petroleum
Corporation, NNPC, and the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC to send in their 2017 budgets.
