Rivers group drums up support for Buhari administration

They endorsed the administration during a solidarity rally held in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

TVC News Uche Okoro reports that the Civil society groups said the solidarity rally was meant to drum up support for the development strides recorded so far by the President Buhari’s administration.

With placards bearing different inscriptions, the appreciable crowd which consist mainly of civil society members marched on the ever busy Port Harcourt-Aba Express way.

The procession ended with the release of a communiqué by the Civil Society Coalition on the State of the Nation under the current federal government.

Members of the group commended the Presidency for establishing several empowerment schemes for the people.

They urged President Buhari to ignore all public negative comments concerning his actual health status and remain focused on his determination to bringing the much-needed change in the country.

Also,members of the Civil Society Coalition called on the President to take personal interest in the construction of the Bonny-Bodo road project so as to improve the living condition of people of the Niger Delta region.
