The Independent National Electoral Commission has presented certificates of return to members elected to represent Sanga and Kagarko constituencies in the Kaduna state house of Assembly.
They are Comfort Amwe for Sanga, and Nuhu Goro for Kagarko.
Presenting them with their certificates of return, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Alhaji Adamu Abdullahi Kaugama urged them to be magnanimous in victory and discharge their legislative responsibilities accordingly.
Alhaji Kaugama said that it is the directive from INEC headquarters to present certificates of return to winners of the 25th January rerun elections which took place in the state and prayed for God’s guidance during their tenure.
While responding, the re-elected member representing Kagarko constituency, Shadalafiya and his counterpart from Sanga constituency, Amwe commended INEC and all election stakeholders for their effort towards ensuring free, fair and credible election.
They also expressed commitment to discharge their duties for the benefit of their constituencies and the state at large and called on those who lost in the election to join hands with them for meaningful development of Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.
