The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Joash Amupitan, has arrived in Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State.
He is in Ekiti to assess the level of preparation for the forthcoming June 20, 2026, governorship election.
Prof Amupitan is expected to present the updated voters’ register to Political Parties on Wednesday and participate in the signing of the Ekiti election Peace Accord.
