The House ad hoc meeting on COVID-19 is meeting with the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 to better understand its workings, achievements and challenges.

The PTF Chairman and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, says a framework for reforming and transforming the nation’s health care system is key to dealing with any future pandemic.

He expresses concern that the pandemic may be getting out if hand going by the increasing number of those infected recorded daily.

Mr. Mustapha appeals to the committee to enlighten their constituents, majority of whom still do not believe in the existence of COVID-19.

Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire and PTF National Coordinator, Sani Aliyu, believe liberal change will get Nigeria out of the pandemic.
