A 26-year-old woman has been diagnosed to have contracted the Viral heamorraghgic fever, popularly known as Lassa fever at the Federal
Medical Centre in Abeokuta.
Spokesman of the hospital, Segun Orisajo confirmed to TVC News that the patient has been transferred to a specialist Hospital for further treatment.
This discovery comes barely three days after the state government denied the outbreak lassa fever in the state.
