Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, has urged leaders of All Progressives Congress in the state to be more committed in ensuring that the party is better strengthened in their localities.
Obaseki made the demand at the government house during an enlarged meeting of party executives and leaders.
The meeting received reports from the mobilization committee setup to woo new members.
The Deputy governor, Philip shaibu, said the governor is determined to make the party bigger and more united especially as the governorship election draws closer.
While the state APC Chairman insisted that all new entrants will only be admitted through the right channels, the committee chairman, thanked Governor Obaseki and the party, for the confidence reposed in them and assured that the expected result will be achieved at the end.
