The Nigerian Railway Corporation has hinted of plans to construct ten new rail lines across the country to ease transport difficulties.
The rail lines will cover travelling distance of over 3, 000 kilometres.
A report on the nation’s rail development released by the Nigerian Railway Corporation, says the planned rail lines will cross cities such as Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ogun, Osogbo, Abuja, Benin, Kogi, Sokoto and Onitsha.
The Corporation, however, complained of poor funding of its various rail projects by the government.
