The Nigerian Ports Authority says that the nation’s seaports have the capacity required to manage the expected cargo inflow brought on by federal government’s latest trade policies.
The managing Director of the ports authority, Hadiza Bala-Usman gave the indication while in a meeting with members of the National association of Government approved Freight forwarders on a collaborative strategy on port development.

Areas of concern regarding high port charges and poor road infrastructure were among the issues the freight forwarders underscored, insisting that there is need for a positive turn around in the nation’s port system for businesses to thrive.
