In an effort to raise the standard of football in Nigeria, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF has rolled out the first measures aimed at sanitizing the game in the country.
NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, reveals the integrity unit of the federation has commenced the implementation of the strategy guideline and has identified some areas that require immediate attention to avoid all forms of conflict of interest.
Sanusi says it has been observed that members of the match commissioners committee do appoint themselves as match commissioners in league games.
This act according to him portends a great danger in terms of transparency and prevention of any possible exploitation.
