NAPTIP expresses concern about acts of violence against women

The director general of national agency for the prohibition of trafficking in persons, NAPTIP, has weighted in the rape allegations against COZA pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

The body also expressed concern about the assault of a nursing mother at an adult toy shop in Abuja by Senator Elisha Abbo.

Julie Okah-Donli say the agency is embarking on a name and shame campaign of rapist and that it is opening a register that will be publicised.

She stressed that all the states in Nigeria must domesticate the violence against persons act 2015 while calling on the law enforcement agencies to go ahead in prosecuting those guilty no matter their status.

This she said in reference to senator Elisha Abbo.
