The Nigerian Airforce has destroyed a meeting venue of Boko Haram insurgents at Boboshe, close to Sambisa Forest, in Borno state.
Director of Public Relations and Information, Ibikunle Daramola, says the operation was conducted after days of surveillance and intelligence reports.
The building was being used as a rendezvous by the insurgents before launching attacks against troops and civilians.
This prompted the Airforce to deploy its fighter aircraft to attack the hideout, leading to the destruction of the structure and killing of an unspecified number of insurgents.
