Kano State Government has ordered the suspension of a Director in the state’s Ministry of Finance over alleged connivance to divert funds.
Nine local government officials were also sacked over the same issue.

The state government also handed over four employees of the State’s Pension Funds Trustee and two top members of Kano Pension Union to the police for siphoning public funds.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje promised that the state government would deploy the means needed to recover all diverted funds.
