A forum meant to improve collaboration among security and allied agencies in tackling the evolving security challenges in the country in underway in Abuja.
The chief of Defence Staff General Gabriel Olonisakin and other service Chiefs agree that without synergy particularly in operations very little would be achieved in handling the security challenges bedevilling the country.

General Olonisakin stresses that the level of threats and dynamic nature of the security challenges require inclusive effort.
The forum is coming after a meeting of security chiefs of the Group of 5 or G-5 comprising the Sahelian countries to tackle terrorism in the region
