Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has challenged government at all levels to give adequate attention to education in order to address the growing population challenges facing the country.
He made this known in Abeokuta at a Youth Governance Dialogue mentorship programme organized by the youth development centre, an arm of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.
The former president suggested short, medium and long term planning for the education sector.
The former president also expressed optimism that despite the current challenges, the country is destined for greatness with youths taking active roles in its development.
