Nigerian sprinter Blessing Okagbare has been included in Saturday’s IAAF Diamond League meeting in Oregon, USA following the final confirmation of athletes invited for the 3rd in the 14-leg IAAF Diamond League series.
The Nigerian 100m record holder has been confirmed to take part in the long jump event by the organisers.
Okagbare who has competed sparingly in the horizontal jump since she won a silver medal at the IAAF Worlds in Moscow, Russia in 2013 will be participating in her first long jump event in 2017.
Thi will be Okagbare’s second Diamond League appearance of the year.
