Regional heads of states have met to seek an approach in delivering durable solutions to the Somali refugee crisis.
The heads of states from Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, South Sudan and Ethiopia met on Saturday in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi under a regional grouping.

The Intergovernmental Authority on Development, called for greater global responsibility sharing with the region, where communities have been hosting and sharing limited resources with Somali refugees for years.
The United Nations said on Saturday that more than two million Somalis have been displaced, including an estimated 1 million internally displaced persons.
