Men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps in Ogun state have foiled the operation of Suspected vandals at Odugboro village, in Sagamu.
The Corps’ anti vandal team also seized five vehicles and thousands of jerry cans loaded with premium motor spirit.
TVC News Kazeem Olowe reports that the operation according to the Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Hammed Abodunrin lasted for several hours before the Suspected vandals later abandoned their vehicles and other tools used in vandalising the pipeline.
The Commandant noted that his men acted on an intelligence tip-off during the early hours of Monday September the 23rd and were able to prevent the suspected vandals from having a successful operation.

The Commandant also warned residents not to allow criminals to hibernate in their Community, urging them to be security conscious.
He noted that the corps is still working on how to apprehend those behind the illegal act.
He added that they will not spare anybody found culpable in the act capable of sabotaging the nation’s economy.
