Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu is dead.
He reportedly died in Lagos on Wednesday. He was aged 67 years.
A government official told TVC that he died in a hospital in Germany at about 2:00 am today.
Governor Akeredolu had a prolonged battle with leukemia and prostrate cancer which incapacitated him. Only recently, he wrote a letter transmitting power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa to allow him proceed on yet another medical vacation
