Bayelsa United’s home invisibility in the Nigeria National League has been halted by Bendel Insurance of Benin.
Playing before their fans at the Nembe City Stadium, the “Restoration Boys” had an uninspiring first half, and had to rely on leading goalscorer Samuel Akinbinu who converted from the sport on the 57th minute.
Their joy was however cut short when the visitors restored parity through Akpos Adubi with 8 minutes left.
