Arsenal, however, managed to buck the trend of defeat, staging a crucial comeback after falling behind to Newcastle in the first half of the match. The match ended in a 2-1 victory for Arsenal.

Another big defeat was recorded in La Liga as Real Madrid lost its top spot on the La Liga table to arch rival FC Barcelona, following a 5-2 defeat suffered against Atletico Madrid.

Despite an initial impressive start to the season, fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing if Chelsea, their favourite London Pride, will be able to turn their fortunes around.

Premier League defending champions, Liverpool FC, also suffered a shock 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace, despite having built up an impressive run of form this season. This defeat marks the club’s first loss after recording a streak of six straight victories.

Despite their recent defeat, Liverpool still retains the top spot in the Premier League table, holding a total of 15 points and a goal difference of five.
