The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone eleven, Bashir Makama, has visited the scene of Thursday’s bank Robbery in Ile-Oluji area of Ondo state.
Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that Thursday’s attack on two banks in Ile-Oluji left many in total shock and people are still mourning the killing of four persons by the dare devil armed robbers.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 11, accompanied by the commissioner of police, visited the scenes for a first hand assessment and to also commiserate with the people.
The AIG assured the people that the robbers would be brought to justice.
The police team also visited the palace of jegun of Ile-Oluji where he condemned the robbery attack.
With the assurance from the AIG, the, people hoped the police will walk the talk by providing adequate security for them.
