Zamfara State Governor-elect, Dauda Lawal, has felicitated with the Muslim ummah for the Successful completion of the Ramadan fast and for witnessing the Eid el-Fitr Sallah.Mr Dauda enjoins Muslims to imbibe the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan, live together in peace and harmony and to be their brothers keepers
On the challenges facing the state, he task citizens to use the holy season and intensify prayers for peace, unity, progress and development of Zamfara State and the world at large
In a press statement signed by his media aide Suleiman Idris, the Governor – elect urge the people to remain steadfast in Seeking Divine Intervention, as the state is in dire need of prayers to tackle it’s challenges
The statement adds that Eid El-Fitr is a day of joy and thanksgiving to the Almighty Allah and also for sober reflection
“It is a day to thank Allah (SWT) for allowing us to observe the Ramadan fast as one of the pillars of Islam enshrined in the Glorious Qur’an. This has enabled us to experience a great sense of achievement, spirituality, and closeness to Allah. The statement reads
“Ramadan was chosen By Allah (SWT) as the month of fasting and spiritual advancement”
“I felicitate with the good people of Zamfara State on the auspicious occasion of Eid El-Fitr, which marks the conclusion of the Holy Month of Ramadan” he added
