Image result for 2017 budget presentationAn Islamic organisation, Jama’at Ta’awunil Muslimeen has asked the federal government to ensure that the 2017 budget does not address economic recession on paper but in practical terms.

In a press conference ahead of its 18th national conference in Iwo, Osun state, the organisation wants the recently presented budget proposal by President Muhammadu Buhari to be well scrutinised by the national assembly with the aim of passing and implementing a budget that will truly address the nation’s economy challenges.

The Amir and national president of Jama’at Ta’awunil Muslimeen,  Sheikh Dahood Molaasan urged Nigerians to be patient with the Buhari administration but also called on government not to test the patience of the masses.
