200 groups merge in Adamawa to back Bindow

Image result for Jibrilla bindowNo fewer than 200 pressure groups have merged in Adamawa State with a view to enlightening people at the grassroots on the achievements so far recorded by Governor Jibrilla Bindow.

Alhaji Abdullahi Bakari, the protem co-ordinator of the group known as “Team Bindow” explained that their cardinal objective is to  support President Muhamadu Buhari and Governor Bindow.

The  associations which have come together to project the achievements of President Buhari and Governor Bindow include tricycle operators across the 21 Local Government areas of Adamawa State.

Bakari, speaking  during its formal inauguration in Yola,vowed that the group would ensure that the interest of the people remains sacrosanct.

He explained that one of their objectives is to educate the people at the grassroots on the achievements of APC at the federal and state levels.

The chairman of the occasion, Senator Jonathan Zwingina welcomed the coming together of various groups to support good governance.

He urged the citizens of Adamawa State to support the good work being done by the APC administration.

Many Speakers at the occasion listed the dividends of democracy so far enjoyed within a year of Bindow’s administration, arguing that the administration needs the support of all and sundry.
