The programme is  a palliative measure which has helped to empower the most vulnerable such as women and children and  to cushion the effects of the country’s dwindling economy.

The programme has also assist farmers to produce more and made market viable, by stimulating the country s economy and improving social status of the common man.

The Zamfara state government can no longer shoulder the burden alone and  says its ready to partner with any organisation ready to support the primary school feeding project in the state.

The donation of three hundred and fifty feeding plates by the Zamfara state chapter of ALGON was to complement both the state and federal government intervention as well as to reduce hunger and poverty amongst peoples especially women and children.

The three hundred and fifty feeding bowls were distributed to the fourteen local government education secretariats and cost the union more than N27m.
