Wife of Kebbi Gov. launches empowerment scheme for 500 SMEs

The Office of the First Lady of Kebbi State, in collaboration with the Zainab Nasare Entertainers Forum, has launched an empowerment program for 500 small-scale businesses in the state.

This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to entrepreneurs, with each beneficiary receiving N20,000, which is part of the 10 Million Naira allocated for the program .

The program received support from the Association of Musicians in Kebbi State, who provided entertainment for the event and In the selection process.

 

The process was overseen by Abdulrasheed Bala, Chairman of the Nasara Foundation, who ensured it was fair and transparent.

In his remarks, the Managing Director Nama Ahmad Umar Farouk emphasized the importance of hard work.

He also commended the First Lady and Governor Idris for their efforts in empowering traders and small businesses in the state.

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Animal Husbandry, Ramatu Usman, also commended the initiative, urging beneficiaries not to underestimate the value of the assistance they have received.

One of the beneficiaries Muhammad Malami expressed his gratitude to the First Lady for the empowerment.
