The planned protest in Calabar, Cross River State, appears to have gotten off to a slow start, with very few demonstrators gathering at the designated venue, Mary Slessor Roundabout.
The low turnout may be attributed to the gloomy weather, as slight showers have been reported in the area.
Despite the small number of protesters, they remain resolute in their demands, which include an end to poor governance among other grievances.
In an interview with TVC News, some of the protesters expressed their frustration with the current state of affairs and reiterated their call for change.
