The Borno State Police command says it is committed to continuing its operations against all criminal elements in the state until relative peace is achieved.
Police Spokesman in Borno Nahum Daso stated this while briefing newsmen on the arrest of 14 persons suspected to be engaged in various criminal activities.
These suspects numbering 14 were arrested by men of the Nigerian police force for allegedly committing various crimes.
The crime ranges from theft, culpable homicide, rape, armed robbery, unlawful possession of firearms, and kidnapping.
Police Public Relations Officer Nahum Daso briefed the press on this development.
Among the suspects are a gang of youth who specialise in vandalising public property.
The Police say this will be dealt with and the suspects would be charged to court after preliminary investigations are completed.
The Borno State Police Command has assured to bring these perpetrators to book so as to serve as deterrent to others.
They also called on the public to always report any suspicious activities around them as security is a duty for all.
