Nigerian organisers have announced that the visit of football legend Pele to the country has been cancelled.
Pele was scheduled to arrive in Lagos on Thursday on a three-day visit to the country for the YEDA Legend Edition 2016.
The visit was earlier scheduled for August but was called off after Pele took ill.
However, organisers say the Legend Edition event would proceed on all other fronts including the sports clinic with the children, which will feature Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba, Taribo West and others.
