Less than 24 hours after the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State flagged off campaign for the Local Government elections, rival party, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, have gathered to unveiling its candidates for the polls.
Members of the PDP in Lagos State are about now presenting their chairmanship and councillorship candidates to the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs as well as the 376 wards in the state.
In a respectable ceremony in Ikoyi the Party is marshalling it’s contest against the ruling APC and other parties in the LGA elections next month despite the challenges faced by the PDP on the National level.
The Local Government elections hold on the 12th of July
