Youths in Nigeria have been advised to channel their grievances through appropriate channels instead of going the way of violence leading to the destruction of national assets.
Special Assistant to the President on monitoring and delivery of Youth initiative Titi Gbadamosi gave the advice when she paid a working visit to the leadership of the youths in Ibadan.
The meeting is a working visit to the Oyo State Youth Development Agency, aimed at initiating discussions on a needs assessment survey for young people in the state.
It also seeks to disseminate information nationwide about ongoing youth initiatives and activities of the Federal Government, and how young people can benefit from these initiatives.
Concerned about youth restiveness due to idleness, young persons in the state have been advised to channel their grievances through their leaders, rather than resorting to violence
However, the Oyo State Government has expressed its readiness to collaborate with the Federal Government to achieve its goal of improving the lives of young people in the state through constant engagement.
This move by the Federal Government serves as a reminder to youths in Oyo State and beyond that their interests remain a priority of the present administration.
