The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) in the Southwest says members of the Union will not call off the strike until the needful is done.
The National Vice Chairman of SSANU, Western Zone, Ilesanmi Jimoh spoke at a the annual women conference of the union at Idanre in Ondo state.
SSANU and two other non teaching staff in the nation’s ivory towers had embarked on a nationwide strike to ensure that the earn allowance is evenly distributed among all the unions.
The SSANU boss noted that despite several letters written to government to address the issue, the government has refused to do the needful.
